HIC - Eid Plans

Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters

Eid Salah Timing

We will have two Salah: The first at 7:15 AM and the second at 9:00 AM

Sisters will pray inside the Masjid (Gym, Upstairs).

Men will pray outside near the Basketball court area.

Arrive Early

Eid Salah starts before Khutbah and we will start promptly on-time In Sha Allah. So please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to find parking and reach your place of praying.

No Parking at Metcam - Strictly no Parking at Metcam, They have been a wonderful neighbor to us allowing us to use their parking at night in Ramadan. We must not abuse their trust and friendship lest we lose that and we all suffer in the future. We will have volunteers at their entrance making sure no one of us mistakenly park in their area.

Obey our Parking Volunteers

Our volunteers work tirelessly to make sure we all enjoy our prayers at Hamzah. You may disagree with their plans sometimes. Yet please listen to them as they have over 15 years of helping us manage parking. They truly know what they are doing. Moreover, they deserve our appreciation for their tireless work.

Zakah/Sadaqah Fitr

Please make sure that you have donated $12-$15 per person in your household before Eid Salah.

Eid Picnic

We will have a Eid picnic Saturday May 14th In Sha Allah (more details will be shared separately)

Eid Expenses

Please donate $25 per family to help us cover Eid expenses and picnic.

Jazakum Allah Khairan

Hamzah Islamic Center - Board

Masjid Hamzah

*History* Hamzah Islamic Center was founded in 2005 based on the principles described above. The center rented a property of 6,000 SQ FT to accommodate both Jumaa prayers and its growing Sunday school demands. The community grew so much, by the Grace of God, that a new center has purchased. It is 11.9 acres of land approximately a mile west of our current rentedl location. A county hearing was held at Forsyth County to approve building of a prayer hall, gym, religious school, daycare, playgrounds and more. Alhamdulillah, the project was unanimously approved by all commissioners.
